Timothy Hollebeek

Director, Industry Development, DigiCert

Timothy Hollebeek has nearly two decades of computer security experience, including eight years working on innovative security research funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. He remains heavily involved as DigiCert’s primary representative in multiple industry standards bodies, including the CA/Browser Forum, striving for improved information security practices that work with real-world implementations. A mathematician by trade, Tim spends a lot of time considering security approaches to quantum computing.

Dean Coclin

Senior Director, Trust Specialist, DigiCert

Dean Coclin is a Senior Director, Trust Specialist at DigiCert. Dean brings more than 35 years of business development and product management experience in software, security, and telecommunications to the company. In his role at DigiCert, he is responsible for representing the company in industry consortia and providing PKI expertise to customers and partners. Coclin is the former chair of the CA/Browser Forum and currently chairs the Code Signing Working Group of the Forum. He also chairs the ASC X9 PKI Study Group, developing next-generation PKI standards for the finance industry.

Bill Newhouse

Cybersecurity Engineer & Project Lead, National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, NIST

Bill Newhouse is a cybersecurity Engineer at NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) where he co-leads the Migration to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) project, a collaboration with industry and gov’t, which shares insights on practices that will ease the migration to PQC algorithms that are resistant to quantum computer-based attacks. He is active in US Gov’t interagency R&D coordination groups.
Mr. Newhouse has been with the U.S. Federal government since 1986 focused initially on telecommunications, then information assurance, and now cybersecurity. He studied Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and has a master’s degree from the George Washington University.

Mike Brown

Senior Advisor to SandboxAQ

Mike is a Senior Advisor to SandboxAQ where he works closely with the Public Sector team to help with their AI and Quantum Solutions. In addition, Mike is the Principal and Founder of Polar Analysis, a boutique consulting firm focused on helping organizations understand threats to their cryptographic infrastructure. Previously, Mike was the co-founder and CTO of ISARA Corporation where he focused on the technical vision and direction for the company. The ISARA vision is a world where consumers, enterprises and governments can benefit from the power of quantum computing with protection against quantum attacks.

Prior to ISARA, Mike was the Vice President of Security Product Management and Research at BlackBerry where he co-founded the product security practice and was responsible for the vision and execution of security for all BlackBerry products.

Mike has spoken at over 100 global security events including RSA, ETSI Quantum-Safe Workshop, GTEC, Bloomberg, InfoSec Europe and many more.

He holds a Masters of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, focusing on cryptography.
